Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted by your private safari guide, who will extend a warm Tanzanian welcome. A comfortable transfer will take you to Gran Meliá Arusha, an oasis of luxury set against the backdrop of Mount Meru. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax at the hotel’s infinity pool, enjoy a rejuvenating spa treatment, or take a short walking tour of Arusha to experience its vibrant local culture. In the evening, indulge in a fine dining experience at your hotel, preparing for the adventure ahead.

After a delicious breakfast, your safari officially begins as you set off towards Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Upon entering the park, you will immediately be immersed in wildlife. Massive elephant families gather near the Tarangire River, lions lounge under acacia trees, and the park’s golden grasslands are alive with giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and impalas.
