Enjoy a game drive en route, with a picnic lunch in the heart of the park. Serengeti is world-famous for its Great Migration, where vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes traverse the plains in search of greener pastures. Depending on the season, you may witness thousands of animals on the move or even the dramatic calving season (December – April), where newborn wildebeests take their first steps amidst prowling predators. After breakfast, continue exploring the park before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the afternoon. Your journey takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where your luxury lodge offers breathtaking views over the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Staying at the crater rim provides a strategic advantage, allowing for an early descent into the crater the following morning, when wildlife is most active.
