We took a full day tour of Arusha with Nelson. When we first contacted Nelson he suggested some sites to see and we picked 2 for the afternoon portion. We started at 9 a.m. with a walking tour from our hotel which lasted about 2 hours and took us to the town clock, freedom monument, Tanzanite Experience, government buildings, a 14th floor viewing platform for amazing views and the main market. After the market we went to Nelson's car and proceeded to our first choice which was the Cultural Centre. There were 5 floors of amazing art from all over Africa plus an extensive gift shop where you can do all your souvenir shopping. We then went to the Shanga Centre for a tour of the facility that employs people with disabilities to make amazing textiles, jewelry and other items mostly from recycled materials. They have a great shop and we did yet more souvenir shopping. We then finished with a late lunch at a local BBQ restaurant that was very good. Nelson was very pleasant and accommodating and we both enjoyed his company and the tour. Highly recommended if you have a spare day in Arusha to give you a great overview of the city.

Nelson is the man! I lived in Tanzania for 1.5 years and had countless amazing experiences with Nelson. I started as a client, but we quickly became really good friends. He has taken me all over Arusha - to markets, waterfalls, mountains, villages, barbecue spots, concerts, and more. We even climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro together! He is an expert guide with abundant knowledge about his home town of Arusha and Tanzania in general. He's also a really good dude, passionate about giving guests great experiences and helping to improve his family and community. He is a former history teacher and can answer any questions you might have about Tanzanian history, culture, and people. If he doesn't know the answer to something, he will find it for you quickly. He's extremely consistent, dependable, friendly, funny, and laid-back. If there's anything you want to do in Arusha, Moshi, Tanzania, or East Africa in general, Nelson will work with you to make it possible! Asante sana for everything bro.

Nelson was amazing and helped us arrange a trip to Arusha National Park with very little notice. Our guide Eli picked us up promptly from our hotel, and safely took us to the park where we spent the day. Eli was very knowledgeable about the area and animals we saw as well as the vegetation . He paced the entire trip so we had plenty of time to explore and view the landscape and wildlife. We had a beautiful lunch before taking a walk around with a ranger to get up and close to a beautiful waterfall. I would highly recommend Tanzania Tourist for a memorable lifetime experience. Kudos to Nelson for making this trip happen.

Nelson and Innocent were fantastic drivers. Cars were clean and the Safari lunch was delicious. I would highly recommend this company for Safari, airport pickup and delivery or just general sightseeing.
