This 5-day safari is designed to immerse you in the spectacular wildebeest calving season in the Ndutu region, located in the southern part of Serengeti National Park and the northern section of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Every year, from December to March, over 500,000 wildebeest calves are born within a short period, creating an extraordinary wildlife spectacle. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards thrive in this environment, offering incredible opportunities to witness the raw beauty of nature.

This journey also takes you through the iconic Central Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park, home to vast elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Take this time to relax and recover from your journey. You may explore the hotel's surroundings or simply unwind in preparation for the exciting adventure ahead.

After breakfast, depart for Ndutu in Southern Serengeti, driving through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive, where you will witness thousands of wildebeest calves being born, with predators such as lions, hyenas, and cheetahs lurking nearby. The Ndutu Region, located in the southern plains of Serengeti, offers the best opportunity to see the Great Migration during calving season, with lush grass providing essential nutrition for the herds.

As the sun sets, head to your tented camp in the wilderness, where you will enjoy a delicious dinner and a night under the African sky.

❖ Accommodation: Sero Tented Camp

Rise early for a sunrise game drive, taking advantage of the cool morning hours when predators are most active. You may witness a dramatic hunt as lions or cheetahs stalk their prey. After breakfast, continue towards Central Serengeti (Seronera), the heart of the park, known for its abundant big cats and year-round wildlife viewing. The landscape transitions from endless plains to rocky kopjes, where leopards are often spotted resting in the shade.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive, keeping an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large prides of lions. After an exhilarating day, head to your tented camp for a well-earned dinner and relaxation.

❖ Accommodation: Tukaone Weavers Camp

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking natural wonder and one of the best places to see the Big Five in Africa. Descend 600 meters into the crater floor, where you will experience an action-packed game drive in a unique ecosystem that supports a dense concentration of wildlife. Spot rhinos grazing, lions on the prowl, elephants roaming, and hippos wallowing in the pools. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, taking in the spectacular views of the crater walls. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and drive to Karatu, a charming town located just outside the conservation area, where you will spend the night.

❖ Accommodation: Kankari Lodge

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a final game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch with stunning views of the Tarangire River, where animals gather to drink. In the afternoon, transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
