Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Tanzania Tourist Safaris will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at your accommodation or explore the lively city, known as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Enjoy a restful evening as you prepare for the exciting safari ahead.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famed for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. As you traverse the vast savannah, watch for a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and predators like lions and leopards. The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, attracts countless animals, providing excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing your game drive. By late afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge in Karatu, where you can unwind and reflect on the day's adventures.

Rise early for a journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries. Descend into the crater’s floor, a haven for an astonishing variety of animals, including the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the endangered black rhino. Vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles graze on the open plains, while flocks of flamingos paint the soda lakes pink. Capture breathtaking landscapes as you explore this wildlife-rich ecosystem. After a full day of game viewing and a picnic lunch, ascend the crater rim and return to Karatu for another peaceful night.

Your final day begins with a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. Then, embark on a game drive, scanning the treetops for Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions and observing large troops of baboons and herds of elephants in the dense groundwater forest. The shallow lake is a birdwatcher’s paradise, attracting thousands of flamingos and other waterbirds. After a picnic lunch, bid farewell to the wild and return to Arusha or the airport, concluding your unforgettable safari.
